In 1884 we started making baseball bats. Fast forward to now, Hillerich and Bradsby Co. is in its fifth generation of continuous family ownership. Our campus, located in downtown Louisville, KY, is adorned with the largest baseball bat in the world. It houses our world-famous Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and our newly opened Barrels and Billets, where you can create your own custom bourbon.

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
Located in the heart of downtown Louisville, the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory showcases one of the biggest names in American baseball. Drawing over 300,000 guests each year, fans can observe how the world-famous Louisville Slugger bats are made during the award-winning factory tour. Guests have the opportunity to get their hands on used bats in the ‘Hold a Piece of History’ exhibit, featuring bats from all 30 MLB teams, or touch MLB player bats before they are shipped off to a Major League ballpark. Our newly renovated galleries with interactive exhibits, historic memorabilia, and more are sure to be a hit!

Barrels & Billets
Tracing its roots to a craftsman who made wooden casks and barrels, Barrels & Billets is a nod to Hillerich & Bradsby Co.'s history and connection with wood. Immigrating to America from Germany on October 7, 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich eventually moved to Louisville where he opened his own wood shop. Originally making barrels for the growing bourbon industry, the family company started producing baseball bats in 1884 — ‘Billets’ refers to the thick, cylindrical pieces of wood that are used at Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory to make baseball bats. We look forward to giving visitors the opportunity to create their own custom bottle or participate in their very own bourbon experience!

Bionic Gloves
A division of Hillerich & Bradsby Co., Bionic Gloves are the most technologically advanced gloves for golf, fitness, gardening, as well as other sports and activities. Our award-winning gloves are scientifically engineered to preserve comfort and prevent fatigue.

Timber Mills
Our timber mills located in Galeton and Akeley, Pennsylvania have been a part of Hillerich & Bradsby Co. for decades. These mills are where all of our iconic bats begin. Using specialized equipment, our Mills Team sustainably manages our rich and dense forests, as more trees grow back per year than what we harvest.
